Fresh off the needles.

So the latest project is off the needles and blocked, so apart from Jenna not being here to be my fabulous model it is ready to be listed in my lovely little Etsy shop!Purl and me murcia

It is knitted in an aran weight yarn spun out of 50% Alpaca Fibre and 50% Wool making it SO soft and cuddly.

The lace border makes it light too so it is suitable for trans seasonal wear too. I love the finished article and I hope you do too!

Projects past and Present…….

I have been organising my photos of previous projects and I thought that I would make a regular little feature out of some of them. It turns out that there are a few things that I am really proud of but once they have been gifted or paid for I have forgotten all about them!

Purl and me wool leaves

Featured today is (one of the many) baby blankets i have made, knitted in green so that it would suit a boy or a girl this is one of my all time favourites. The pattern can be found on Ravelry and is called “Wool Leaves” .

It was made using Artesano Aran which is 50% wool and 50% Alpaca fibre so it is super super soft against baby’s skin.

I also couldn’t resist knitting up some leaves to tie it up with 🙂
